Our Services
What We Provide
At JC.CONCRETE REPAIRS.LIMITED, we’ve worked hard to offer smart, flexible and affordable services that benefit all of our customers. No matter what your needs are, our team of experts will go out of their way to customize our solutions to exceed your expectations.
CONCRETE REPAIRS
This is one of our most popular services available. It’s made a big difference for many of our customers, and is provided with the highest level of excellence.
We provide a complete service of concrete repairs specific of the needs of reinforced concrete structures.
The concrete buildings and structures require experienced, skilled operatives and quality materials to ensure that the repairs are done correctly.
We utilise the most up to date equipment when breaking, and cut out concrete for small repair area we use electric and pneumatic tools, for larger volumes we use hydro -demolition.

Service
We use a varied range of repairs mortars in our role as a dedicate concrete repairs contractor who are carefully selected to provide our clients with a cost - effective solution.

JC.CONCRETE REPAIRS.LTD operatives are highly skilled and trained, providing 100% work quality.

DRY SPRAY CONCRETE (SHOTCRETE)
Spray concrete is the most efficient method of concrete application, the process of applying spray concrete uses mortar that is sprayed at a high velocity using air power. It is frequently used in the construction industry for numerous applications thanks to its strength, adaptability and durability.
Spray concrete is ideal for strengthening structures such as tunnels, bridges, dams and buildings in order to extend their lifetime.

Shortcrete is also used in underground construction including structures such as subway systems, tunnels, caverns and mines as it helps prevent soil erosion and water ingress.

With Dry spray concrete (shotcrete) the concrete is not a ready-mixed formula, but instead the mortar is mixed with water and shotcrete accelerators on application, dry spray concrete holds a number of advantages; it has a high early strength for preliminary sealing or stabilising, flexibility and the added benefit of producing minimal waste when applied.

Service
We mostly use spray concrete for the strengthening and repair of existing structures, reinstatement of concrete on vertical, overhead or curved structures and often used to encapsulate or overlay the Cathodic Protection System.

JC.CONCRETE REPAIRS.LTD provide a range of finishes, shot finish, cut & flash, wood or plastic float, steel float.
By using our in - house trained operatives we can assure the work quality to a high standard.

STRUCTURAL REPAIRS AND STRENGTHENING
Structural strengthening is the process of upgrading structures (such as concrete or steel that are old or have been damaged) to improve performance under existing loads or to increase the strength of structural members to carry additional loads.

Structural steel replacement.
- provide a quick and cost- effective solution that can be permanent or temporary and can be applied to damaged steel columns or steel beams.

Steel plate bonding.
- the technique of strengthening the concrete structures by bonding steel plates to the external faces by using epoxy adhesive, the steel plate are generally mild steel and at least 4mm thick to prevent distortion during the preparation process, this method is used to increase flexural strength of a structure.

Carbon Fiber Wrapping
- this method of carbon fiber wrapping is increase load bearing capacity of concrete beams, columns, slabs and walls, repairing or preventing seismic damage, replace damaged or missing reinforcing steel, it can be used also on new constructions to increase structural load and also provide long - term protection. Quick to install and with minimal impact the successful installation requires experienced and skilled operatives. Single or multiple layers of fiber fabric are impregnated with resin adhesive and applied to the prepared structure, the preparation requires maximum attention to acquire the performance of carbon fiber wrapping properties.

Carbon plate bonding.
- carbon fiber plates are special designed for use as a high strength and durable external reinforcement bonded to a structure using a high - performance epoxy resin adhesive, the plate bonding technique is used particularly to improve the impact resistance for reinforced concrete structures such as soffits, floor slabs and bridge decks.

BRICKWORK REPAIRS
Deterioration of brickwork can be caused by a number of factors which can affect the structure and take various forms.
- crack appearing through brick work
- loose bricks
- soft, loose and crumbling mortar
If a brick structure begins to exhibit any of those signs it is important to identify the cause and rectify it as soon as possible to prevent the problem from spreading and more damage to occur.
We provide with a range of solutions such as:
- crack stitching (Helical): when works are carried out in order to reconnect or stabilise brickwork that has been cracked.
- brick replacement: done when there are cracks in the mortar, water damage, mortar crumbling and holes in the brickwork or mortar.
- brickwork repointing: is the process of renewing and repairing the point between the bricks.

ABRASIVE BLASTING - SURFACE PREPARATION
Our team of operatives are experienced in providing cleaning and preparation of surfaces by using dustless blasting, grit blasting and high - pressure wash machine by removing of existing coatings, corrosion or surface contaminants, preparation of concrete surfaces in preparation for applications of protective coatings.

Surface preparation is needed to make concrete repairs last as the material needs to stick to the surface securely.

PROTECTIVE COATINGS
Over time the reinforced concrete structural integrity can be compromised and suffer damage from: carbon dioxide, water and chloride, so it is critical to specify the anti - carbonation coating is an essential and necessary element in the preservation and maintenance of structures by protecting them against future deterioration and prolong their lifespan and avoid costly and disruptive repair.
We provide and apply a range of protective coatings for a number of purposes and a range of finishes, our protective coatings provide the ultimate protection against the ingress of carbon dioxide, water and chloride, the coatings applications are depending of the specific requirement of structure;
- anti- carbonation coating
- migratory corrosion inhibitors
- cementitious coating
- epoxy coating
- elastomeric and flexible coating.

EXPANSION JOINT REPAIR
An expansion joint or movement joint is an assembly designed to safely absorb the heat - induced expansion and contraction of construction materials, to absorb vibrations, to hold parts together or to allow movement due to the ground settlement or earthquakes.

We offer a repair system that are chemical - resistant and will alleviate water egress and ingress, allowing the expansion joint to accommodate movement.

GROUTING
Cementitious grout is a dens fluid formed of a composite material generally consisting of water, sand and cement and is typically used under controlled pressure and requires specialist plant to mix and pump the materials.

Grouting is used for filling voids under structural elements or machinery or by sealing openings and joints in reinforcing existing structures or surfaces.
- adjustable consistency
- good adhesion to concrete
- excellent flow properties
- fast strength development

RESIN INJECTION
The methodology is used to seal cracks in concrete slabs, walls, masonry, concrete block foundations and other structures.

Our fast acting hydrophobic resin injection system is the method used to restore structural integrity by providing a waterproof seal that protects structures from water ingress.

Other system to provide structural repairs to cracking in concrete structures is by injecting resin under controlled pressure by filling every crevasse or crack by bonding the crack together.
Depending on the size of the crack, various types of materials are utilized such as:
- cracks greater than 0.2mm in width are injected with Low viscosity resin
- wider cracks are injected with Thixotropic resin.
